Day 1: Jakarta Arrival – Transfer to your hotel near Airport
Arrive in Jakarta International Airport. Meet and greet with our English speaking guide for transfer to your hotel near Airport for overnight.
Day 2: Jakarta Airport – Flight to Pangkalan Bun – Kumai – Proboscis Tour – Longhouse Boat
Transfer to Jakarta Airport for early morning flight to Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan. Upon your arrival in Pangkalan Bun Airport, meeting service with our staff and guide then direct transfer to Kumai. It will take about 20 minutes. Upon your arrival in Kumai direct transfer to the houseboat, Lunch will provided On board. Afterward boating down Kumai River approximately 15 minutes to reach Seikonyer River, the main river in Tanjung Puting National Park. Cruise up the seikonyer river you will see nice vegetation around the river bank, Nipa Palm, Pandanus, and some kind of trees that growing up around the river. See some wildlife such as birds, Macaque, Proboscis Monkey and Orangutan, if the time still permitted you will visit Orangutan feeding in Tanjung Harapan at 15.00 PM. Then At 16.00 return back to the boat and continue boating up to observe and learning more about Proboscis monkeys along the river banks. Proboscis monkeys are being endemic animal that can be seen only in Borneo. Dinner and Overnight in the Longhouse Boat.
Day 3: Pasalat Camp – Camp Leaky/ Longhouse Boat
After breakfast, proceed up the river to Pasalat Camp, here you will be hiking up on the board walk for 800 Meters and 200 meters you will walk on the ground. In this camp you will have chance to planting endemic fruit trees for orangutan and this is also the carbon offset program. This program supports the national park to replanting the trees around the ex-forest fire areas and to spread up the fruit trees for the animals in this park. When the tree grows up, the trees will do photosynthesis. From this process the tree will produce the Oxygen, and the Oxygen is the payment to all the Carbon we produce in our whole life (payment of the carbon). Return back to the houseboat then boating up direct to Camp Leakey. Lunch will provide on board. On arrival in Camp Leakey, you will visit IC (Information Center) to see all work of DR. Birute Galdikas while she studies the orangutan here start from 1971 until today. Enjoy your time until 14.00, afterward continue trekking up into the forest to see orangutan feeding, enjoy the time till 16.00 back to the boat then boating down to Pondok Ambung. If the time permitted before dinner you will trekking into the forest for 2 hours to see the nocturnal animals like Tarsiers, tarantulas, etc. back to the houseboat. Dinner and Overnight in the Long Houseboat
Day 4: Pondok Tangguy – Tanjung Harapan Village – Tanjung Harapan Camp/ Longhouse Boat
After breakfast, boating down to reach Pondok Tanggui, the second rehabilitation center for the orangutan. Visit the Orangutan feeding 09.00 AM, enjoy your time while take some pictures. Then at 10.00 AM return back to the houseboat and continue boating down direct to Tanjung Harapan village to see the Malayan settlement activities in the Afternoon. Lunch will provide on board then cross to Tanjung Harapan Camp to see the last orangutan feeding at 15.00 you will stay until 16.00 pm. Back to the boat and boating down directly to Nipa Palm area to see thousands of fireflies. Dinner and Overnight in the Long Houseboat
Day 5: Trekking in Tanjung Harapan – Motor boat Canoe – Nipa Palm/Longhouse Boat
After breakfast, enjoy your time until we are ready to explore more wildlife trekking up into the forest, you will do trekking from Tanjung Harapan to Sungai Buluh it will take about 3 hours, then on arrival in Sungai Buluh you will explore more on the motor boat canoe then back to the houseboat. Lunch will provide on board, Free on you own leisure while you will be spotting Proboscis Monkeys Group around the river bank in the afternoon. Afterward boating down direct to the nipa palm area to see thousand firefly. Dinner and Overnight in the Long Houseboat
Day 6: Kumai – Pangkalan Bun – Flight to Bali via Surabaya – Legian Beach
After breakfast boating down to Kumai. Direct transfer to Pangkalan Bun Airport for your flight to Denpasar Bali. Upon arrival in Bali. Transfer to your hotel Legian Beach for overnight.
Day 7: Legian Beach – Free days on the Beach
Day 8 : Legian Beach – Sunset Ulutawu Temple – Jimbaran Bay
Breakfast at hotel. Afternoon we pay a visit to Ulutawu Temple at 14.30. Being one of the oldest temples in the south of Bali, Indonesia, the Uluwatu Temple is located on a majestic cliff overlooking the Java Sea. This is a beautiful poetic temple with white clouds and ocean waves day and night. The Uluwatu temple, called Pura Luhur Uluwatu, was built in the 10th century, about 50 km from the central town of Kuta. The rocky rocky cliffs are nearly 100m above sea level, carved from black coral. The temple carries the architectural features of Bali with layers of roofed palm leaves stacked.
Then we drive to the beautiful Jimbaran Bay for Seafood BBQ Dinner . Located on the Bali archipelago, Jimbaran Bay is easily accessible in front of you with a more beautiful view than ever. From a quiet small fishing village, Jimbaran is increasingly developing with the system of luxury resorts, luxury beach restaurants. This is also the reason that Jimbaran always attract many people to come here to relax, relax. Along with the food, a special thing in time for dinner in Jimbaran that you will enjoy, is the dazzling sunset scene. In the midst of a dying day, dark patches blend in and turn Jimbaran into a harmonious, shimmering landscape ever. Here, this is also the unique “spice” that you can only feel when going to Jimbaran Bay. Back to hotel about 20.00
Day 9 : Legian Beach – Ubud Palace – Tegallalang- Kintamani Plateau – Tirta Empul Temple
Today we venture out of Nusa Dua, heading to Kintamani Plateau. We depart at with first stop will be at Ubud Palace and Tegalalang rice paddies, Then we drive to Kintamani with stop for enjoy view and lunch. Kintamani Plateau still retains its almost unspoiled beauty, becoming a natural symbol that any visitor would want to visit upon arriving in this vibrant Bali island.There is Mount Batur, a still active volcano and Batur Lake in the plateau. Batur Lake, 16 km wide, is located in the south of the plateau and is home to many special fish. There are also hot springs that are widely available for treating some of its diseases. Visitors often take hot springs here before embarking on a journey to reach the height of the cooled volcanoes. Lake Batur is the main source of irrigation water for almost every village in Bali, so the lake is especially important in the lives of the people on the island in general.
After lunch in the plateau, we continue to visit Tirta Empul Temple. Tirta Empul Temple, also known as the “Holy Stream Temple,” plays a very important role in the spiritual life of the local people, which is considered to be the place to dissolve the negative effects in life and to purify mind, human soul. In the central area of Tirta Empul there is a sacred water pond that is never dry because of the constant supply of water from the bottom of the basin, which flows from the high mountain stream. Whether it is local people or Hindu people from all over the world, when coming to Tirta Empul Temple, there is the desire to bathe theirselvé through twelve sacred streams, wishing to wash away the dust, wash the air. Good luck in body and soul, want to be blessed, stroked and protected, giving them a healthy body, a pure soul and a wise mind. Drive back to hotel for overnight.
Day 10: Legian Beach – Bedugul Botanical Gardens – Ulun Danu Lake Temple – Jatiluwih Rice Paddies – Tanah Lot for Sunset
After having breakfast, we proceed to Candi Kuning, where have Bedugul Botanical Gardens and then we will visit most important temple at Ulun Danu Temple. Bedugul is a large tropical garden located on the Bedugul plateau, Bali, where there is cool air with rich flora, especially with a collection of 320 orchids from different parts of Indonesia. In the garden there is Beratan Lake – a shallow lake of crater about 1231m above sea level. Lake Beratan is the second largest lake in Bali, but the main reservoir provides water for terraced fields. Understanding the importance of the lake, King Mengwi built the Ulun Danu Temple in 1633 to worship the goddess Dewi Danu. Ulun Danu brings the cold air of the mountains with characteristic temperate flowering plants. In the misty mist over the lake, the darkness of the temple as well as the beauty of elegance, just like a watercolor picture. We continue our trip to visit Jatiluwih Rice Paddies UNESCO Heritage site for short trekking and lunch . After lunch we will drive to Tanah Lot Temple before back to your hotel for overnight. Let relax after a day of exploration.
Day 11 : Legian Beach- Beach Free & Easy
The time today is scheduled for you to be free at leisure or you might want to enjoy swimming/diving.
Day 12 : Legian Beach – Airport for Departure
The time is on your own until we pick you up to transfer to the airport, taking an international flight to your hometown
