Day 1 : Tambolaka Airport – West Sumba
Upon arrival at Tambolaka Airport in West Sumba , you are welcome by our guide representative then transfer to your hotel for overnight . Relax and swim on the beach while enjoy the sunset.
Day 2 : Sumba- Ratenggaro Village – Weekuri Lake – Mandorak Beach (B,L)
After breakfast, we’ll head to Ratenggaro Village in the Kodi area, known for its traditional high-roofed houses, the tallest in all of Sumba. These houses, built by hand in the traditional style, can accommodate up to 50 family members each. This village is one of the few traditional ones left in the region. During the harvesting season, most villagers work in the fields, leaving only the elders and children behind.
Next, we’ll visit Weekuri Lake, a crystal-clear lake perfect for swimming and relaxing. Take a refreshing dip or enjoy a walk around the rocks and reefs, where you can also see the ocean on one side.
Nearby is Mandorak Beach, guarded by two large rock ridges pointing toward the center, with stunning crystal-clear waters. After a relaxing afternoon, we’ll return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Sumba – Waikacura Ricefield – Praijing Village (B,L)
Start your day with a short trek through the rice fields of Waikacura. Here, you’ll witness local farming activities and enjoy a scenic view of the river and a small waterfall at the end of the trek.
Afterward, we’ll head to Praijing Village, perched on top of a hill. To explore the village, you’ll need to walk down the hill. At the entrance, you’ll have a stunning panoramic view of the entire village and its surrounding landscape. The village is surrounded by the beautiful nature of Sumba, making it a serene and picturesque destination.
Return to your hotel in the afternoon for an overnight stay.
