Day 1: Arrive in Jakarta – Bandung / Hilton Bandung
Welcome to Indonesia. When you arrive at Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta International Airport your driver will already be waiting to meet you. He will bring you to Bandung for a 3-hour drive where you can relax and recover from the long flight. Overnight in Bandung.
Day 2 : Bandung – Full Day Bandung Tour – Pangalengan Tea Plantation (B,L)
Breakfast at hotel, full day visit to Tangkuban Perahu crater, an active volcanic crater, and Ciater hot spring resort, noted for its healing powers for skin and rheumatism problems. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch proceed to Pangalengan Tea Plantation. Then afternoon back to hotel for overnight.
Day 3 : Bandung – Garut via Toll (B)
In the morning we drive to Garut via Toll. In the evening you will be able to enjoy the hot spring pool at your hotel so you are relaxed for continuing the journey the next day. Overnight in Garut.
Day 4 : Garut – Pangandaran (B)
In the morning we start our journey to Pangandaran. On the way we will stop at Mount Papandayan and Kampoeng Naga (Dragon Village). Overnight in Pangandaran.
Day 5 : Pangandaran (B)
Pangandaran is famous for the jungle trip in its National Reserve. If you are lucky you might even see some deer looking for their meals. Of course, you can also choose to chill out and relax at the beach. For sure you should enjoy the fresh seafood. The choice is yours. Overnight in Pangandaran.
Day 6 : Pangandaran – Wonosobo / Hotel Dafam Wonosobo (B)
In the morning we drive from Pangandaran to Wonosobo via Cilacap. It might be a nice idea, as well as being great fun, to do part of the trip by boat; in that case we will meet you again in the harbour of Cilacap from where we’ll continue our journey together. If you prefer to do the whole trip by car that’s possible too. Overnight in Wonosobo.
Day 7 : Wonosobo – Dieng Plateau – Surakarta / Alila Solo (B)
In the early morning, we drive to the Dieng Plateau to enjoy its spectacular sunrise, crater and scenery, as well as the oldest Hindu temple complex in Java. After this visit, we will continue on our way to Surakarta. Stay overnight in Surakarta.
Day 8 : Surakarta – Train to Jombang – Blitar / Hotel Tugu Blitar (B)
Early morning departure at 07.33 for the train to Jombang. Arrive in Jombang then drive to Penataran Temple and Gunung Kelud before check-in at your hotel in Blitar.
Day 9 : Blitar – Coban Rondo Waterfall – Candi Singosari – Malang / Hotel Tugu Malang (B)
Depart Kediri for Malang with stop on the way to visit Coban Rondo waterfall and Singosari Temple. Check in at your hotel in Malang for overnight.
Day 10 : Malang – Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – Jember / Hotel Aston Jember (B)
Leave early morning for a 2-hour drive to visit Tumpak Sewu waterfall, then we will drive 4 hours to Jember for overnight.
Day 11 : Jember – Ijen Crater (By 4WD Jeep) – Ferry to Bali (B)
The alarm rings early. We charge the batteries with breakfast at the hotel from which we will leave on board a 4×4 Jeep towards the Ijen Crater. We will drive a short distance to the beginning of the trail that leads to the active and beautiful Kawah Ijen volcano crater. From here it will start about 1 hour and 30 minutes of trekking to reach its famous blue acid lake (the most acidic in the world!) and the hot, partially liquid sulfur deposits. The fumaroles are so hot that the sulfur comes out as a green vapor. The show is guaranteed! We will leave the Ijen plateau and head towards the port of Ketapang to take the ferry which in one hour will take us to Bali where we will take you to Ubud for overnight. END OF THE TRIP.
