Day 1 : Airport –Transfer to Yogyakarta City/ Hyatt Yogyakarta
Arrive in Yogyakarta International Airport . Meet and greet with our guide then transfer to your hotel in Yogyakarta for overnight.
Day 2 : Yogyakarta – Sultan Palace – To Taman Sari by Becak Rickshaw – Batik Painting Class – Fort Vredeburg Museum – Malioboro Walk (B,L)
Breakfast at hotel. We will start our tour by visit Sultan Palace the Keraton and experience the constant hustle and bustle of Javanese life as you tour the city of Yogyakarta in a becak, which is the local name for a rickshaw. With three tires and one seat at the front, the becak is manually pedaled by the driver to Taman Sari water castle, then by car continue for 1 hour Batik Painting class . After lunch we will visit Fort Vredeburg Museum and Malioboro Street Walk before transfer to your hotel for overnight .
Day 3 : Yogyakarta –Prambanan Cycling Tour – Ratu Boko Temple – Tarumartani Cigar House (B,L)
Leave hotel for Afternoon go ride for heritage cycling activity is a set of interesting scenery about ancient sites, rice fields and rural culture daily life. This trip provide a different style to enjoying Yogyakarta’s tourism especially its ancient sites, so this will be a sensational experience in your holiday in Yogyakarta. Start near the Prambanan Complex, the trip will pass Prambanan temple. You will enjoy the life of rural communities and beautiful natural scenery during the ride bike. You can see the real of Indonesia daily life. You will also visit home industry making emping cracker then visit Sewu temple, Plaosan temple, Bubrah temple before we finish the cycling trip enter the Prambanan temple to see the magnificent Hinduism temple in Java. The huge Prambanan complex, a set of temples built in the middle of the 9th century, about 50 years after the construction of Borobudur. Very little is known about the early history of the complex, but it is thought to have been constructed to commemorate the return of a Hindu dynasty in Java. The temples lay in ruins for hundreds of years, and it was only in the 1930s that restoration began. Most of the temples within the complex have now been restored. Follow the guide’s lead around the temple grounds while he or she explains the history, construction processes and religious significance of these buildings,then we will visit Ratu Boko Temple. Set on a hill with views over the Prambanan temples, Ratu Boko Temple was not actually a temple but a palace. Most likely the main court of the Mataram dynasty, the vast 8th-century complex includes bathing pools, meditation caves, an elaborate gateway, various halls, and a cremation platform. After lunch, we will visit Taru Martani Cigar House before return to your hotel for overnight.
Day 4 : Yogyakarta – Solo City Tour – Sukuh and Cetho Temple (B,L)
Today after breakfast, start the day with a visit of Solo. Also known as Surakarta, the city of Solo was founded in 1745 by a local king. The site for the new Mataram Kingdom’s capital was reportedly chosen through voices heard by the king. Solo is the capital of batik in Java and remains home to some of the most intact Dutch colonial architecture in Indonesia. Visit Keraton Mangkunegaran – a classical repository of classical Javanese art. Built as a palace for a ‘junior’ line of the royal family in the 18th century, the splendid building has an extensive collection of 14th century jewelry, majestic silverworks, traditional Javanese weapons and classical dancing body ornaments. End the morning with a visit to a well-known batik museum and learn about this famous Javanese art developed through the ages. Also, see craftsmen and women at work making new creations. Lunch will be served here as well. Early in the afternoon, depart for a half-day excursion to Sukuh and Cetho, two of the latest Hindu temples built in Java before the island’s courts were converted to Islam in the 16th century. Located on the western slopes of Mount Lawu (3,265m), this area, at the border between Central and East Java, offers spectacular landscapes with terraces covered by beautiful tea plantations . Explore Sukuh, located at 910 metres in elevation, and take a look at its unique pyramidal shape -similar in style to the Mayan temples of Central America and its stone carvings of Hindu phallic symbols. Continue the drive, passing through beautiful tea plantations to Cetho, another Hindu temple located even higher on the mountain and rarely visited. Its carvings are similar to Sukuh Temple, but the multi-tiered temple differs in architectural layout. Back to hotel in Yogyakarta for overnight .
Day 5 : Yogyakarta – Dieng Plateau– Borobudur Area/Plataran Borobudur Resort (B,L)
Depart hotel after breakfast to Dieng Plateau will take about 3 hours by car. Upon arrival, we will visit Telaga Warna Lake, or ‘Colourful Lake’, contains water that can change in fluctuating colors. At times it can be green, purple, yellow or even taking the colors of the rainbow! This phenomenon occurs when the sun hits the water due to its high sulfur content. From Telaga Warna Lake, you will next visit Sikidang Crater, which is an open sulfur crater with angry bubbling mud and bellowing steam. It’s set among a bumpy and dusty landscape that will make you feel like you arrived on another planet. Not far from the crater, you can also visit the Arjuna Temple Complex which houses eight small Hindu temples that date back to the seventh century. Transfer to Borobudur area for overnight.
Day 6 : Borobudur Sunrise from Dagi Hill – Walking To Borobudur Temple – Meditation at Vihara Mendut – Pawon Temple – Javanese Traditional Music Lesson and Lunch at PAK TIJAB HOUSE – Explore Candirejo Village (B,L)
Wake up early in the morning to reach Borobudur before sunrise, leaving the hotel around 04:30. This is the most mystical time to see the temple where you can see Borobudur sunrise from Dagi Hill and enjoy your breakfast. Then after breakfast, we will take a walk to explore Borobudur temple from Dagi Hill . We will take a walk around Borobudur (we no longer allow to climb up the temple by Indonesia government), this massive temple- the largest Buddhist temple in the world- and discover the incredible history behind its construction. Comprised of thousands of volcanic and river stone blocks, the temple was assembled entirely by human labour and took more than 75 years to complete. These days, the UNESCO Heritage site is still visible in its full glory with magnificent carvings and an unusual, yet surprisingly beautiful bulk structure. You will admire the thousands of intricate carvings found along the walls of Borobudur and learn about the incredible history behind its construction. This UNESCO heritage site is sure to surprise even the most seasoned travelers. A mystical experience that will remain in your heart. Then continue for 1 Hour Meditation at Vihara Mendut which will be followed by a short exploration of the monastery, it is older than Borobudur, the pyramid shaped temple of Mendut houses three carved stone statues, learn about the history of the temple and the unique architecture. Then the Pawon Temple, located right on an axis between Borobodur and Mendut. Due to its simplicity and the contrast with the style used in East Java, it has been called a “jewel” of the architecture of Java times. Then back to hotel for rest. About 11.00, we will drive to Pak Tijab House for 1 hour Javanese Gamelan instrument lesson. Feel the music on your trip to the villages around Borobudur. Take some music lessons from the local gamelan artists and have fun practicing a tune or two an on this traditional instrumental ensemble and have Javanese food lunch at Pak Tijab traditional house. In the afternoon, you will enjoy an in-depth exploration of Candirejo, a typical rural village. You will travel from Dokar, with a local cart, crossing small streets lined with traditional houses. You will pass by scenes of everyday life, such as making cassava crackers or drying chilies. You can stop often to take pictures or chat with the locals, to learn more about their typical activities and their rich traditions. Late afternoon back to hotel for overnight .
Day 7 : Borobudur Area – Selogriyo Trekking – Lawang Sewu – Semarang City / Padma Semarang Hotel (B,L)
Morning at leisure until before departing for a brief tour in the resort’s coffee plantation, and then check out time. After being picked up by the guide and driver, head to a small village on the slopes of Mt Sumbing for the start of a soft trekking experience.Enjoy lunch en route. Walk through rice fields and plantations and see local villagers at work taking care of their crops or processing charcoal. Then visit Selogriyo Temple. Although it’s a rather modest temple, the walk there (about 2 hours) is beautiful and easy to do for everybody.The next stop is a visit to OHD Museum in Magelang for a look at the area’s contemporary art and one of the best private collections in the country. (OHD Museum closes on Tuesday). Afterwards, continue to the city centre of Semarang. Located on the north coast of the island of Java, Semarang is the capital of Central Java. An Important port on the Java Sea since the Dutch colonial era, Semarang, with its 1.5 million inhabitants is now the 7th most populous city in Indonesia. Visit Lawang Sewu, the city’s main landmark and a masterpiece of Dutch colonial architecture. The building was built between 1904 and 1907 as the former headquarters of the national railway of the Dutch East Indies. Its name in Javanese means ‘Thousands Doors’. Then check in at your hotel in Semarang for overnight .
Day 8 : Semarang – Pangkalan Bun – Tanjung Puting / Rimba Lodge (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel .Transfer to Semarang Airport from flight to Pangkalan Bun. Upon arrival at the airport of Pangkalanbun direct transfer to the boat for cruise up for Rimba Lodge and afternoon watching proboscis monkeys and wild Orang Utan by boat. Overnight are provided in Rimba Lodge .
Day 9 : Rimba Lodge – Camp Leaky (B,L,D).
Breakfast at Rimba Lodge then half day trek for exploring The Orang Utans. Research for feeding time at 13.30 at camp Leaky by trekking at rainforest about half hours watching such as the King during feeding time at 14.00. Overnight are provided in Rimba Lodge .
Day 10 : Tanjung Harapan – Pangkalan Bun Airport – Surabaya – Bromo/Plataran Bromo (B,L) .
Breakfast at Rimba Lodge, morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Surabaya. Upon arrival in Surabaya. Meet and greet with our guide, drive to BMadakaripura waterfall and continue Wonotoro, Bromo for overnight
Day 11 : Watch the sunrise at Mount Bromo – Drive to Malang / Hotel Tugu Malang (B,L)
To appreciate the spectacular sunrise view over the Mount Bromo, we will set out early in the morning today. You will be taken by a Jeep to Penanjakan Mountain at 03.00 and you will enjoy the dawn break at the rim of one of the most active volcanoes. Then after crossing the grand San Sea of Laotian Pasir, you will arrive at the top of Bromo, which is one of the landmarks of Indonesia. The volcano is still emitting thick smoke, and when you get close, you can hear the sound of the volcano purring. Afterwards, you will be escorted to check into the hotel for freshing up and After breakfast continue to go downwards to Malang for overnight.
Day 12 : Malang Temples and City Tour (B,L)
Malang’s nostalgic atmosphere results from the fact that Dutch planters and civil servants used to retire here until the early 1900s. This tour includes a visit to Wonosari Tea Plantation, a vast and beautiful plantation on the slope of Mount Arjuna, where guests can witness the tea leaf picking, the process of tea-making, as well as other traditional daily activities of this tea plantation. Then we will visit inherited many ancient “candi” or temples; beautiful remains of kingdoms from many hundreds years ago, and visit Candi Badut is necessary to unlock the historical treasure of Malang that was once the centre of political power of the 8th century Kanjuruhan Kingdom. Even after the collapse of the Kingdom of Singosari, Malang region remained to be an important region for the following dynasties of East Java with it is Singosari Temple . Back to hotel for overnight.
