Day 1: Arrival in Jakarta in the morning, Airport pick-up
Morning airport pick-up at Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport followed by a private transfer to your selected hotel. Enjoy a free afternoon to rest or explore the city at your own pace. Overnight in Jakarta.
Day 2: Jakarta city exploration (B,L)
Morning departure to explore Batavia Old Town. Visit Istiqlal Mosque and Jakarta Cathedral before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit to Taman Fatahillah to discover the National Museum, Wayang Museum, and the Museum of Fine Art and Ceramics. Return to the hotel after exploring Dutch colonial architecture.
Day 3 : Jakarta – Luxury Train Journey to Yogyakarta – Transfer to Amanjiwo (B,L)
Morning breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Gambir train station and depart to Yogyakarta by Luxury Train . Upon arrival in Tugu Station Yogyakarta, meet and greet with our guide for transfer to your hotel in Amanjiwo
Day 4 : Borobudur Area – Puthuk Setumbu Sunrise – Borobudur Temple – OHD Museum – Selogriyo Soft Trekking (B,L)
Early morning transfer to Puthuk Setumbu to witness the sunrise over Borobudur. Return to the hotel for breakfast before heading to Mt. Sumbing for a soft trek through rice fields and local villages. Visit the secluded Selogriyo Temple and explore contemporary art at the OHD Museum in Magelang.
After lunch, discover the ancient stupas of Borobudur Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to the hotel for overnight.
Day 5 : Borobudur Area – Sultan Palace – To Taman Sari by Becak Rickshaw – Batik Painting Class – Prambanan Temple – Merapi Volcano (B,L)
After breakfast, visit the Sultan Palace (Keraton) and take a traditional becak rickshaw ride to Taman Sari Water Castle. Participate in a one-hour Batik painting class before heading to the ancient Hindu temple of Prambanan. Conclude the day with a photo stop at Mount Merapi before returning to the hotel for overnight.
Day 6: Borobudur Area – Half Day Mendut Temple – Pawon Temple – Candirejo (B)
After breakfast, visit the historic Pawon and Mendut temples. Following lunch, explore Candirejo village by traditional horse-drawn carriage to experience local rural life. End the afternoon with an immersive Indonesian Gamelan music class before returning to your hotel for the evening.
